TRP Peninsula Official Grand Opening Event
It’s official, TRP Peninsula is open for business!
Our new truck and trailer parts store on the Mornington Peninsula had its official Grand Opening event earlier this month to celebrate the new location with our valued customers.
After months of renovations to fit out the empty warehouse space, in mid-November 2023 TRP Peninsula was finally ready to trade, and opened doors to the public.
The grand opening event, held on Friday, April 5, was a fantastic way to be able to showcase to our Peninsula customers and suppliers the new store and all of our offerings.
As guests arrived on the night, it would have been hard for them to miss the new TRP Peninsula store, with the building suitably lit up in blue and red lights along with an impressive Kenworth K108 on display wrapped in TRP colours.
Guests then entered through the front doors, giving them an opportunity to see our showroom and all our offerings before heading through the warehouse doors to unveil our ‘pop-up style’ beer garden that flowed out into the rear carpark.
The beer garden, donned with festoon lights, wine barrels and live music by Nathan and Susie, really set the vibe for the night and enticed our guests to head straight to the bar to grab themselves a cold drink whilst taking in their surroundings.
As the night began, guests enjoyed an unbelievable array of food by Bigger Than Texas, including their drool-worthy low and slow pork ribs and their famous beef brisket. Everyone also had the opportunity to get a closer look at the Kenworth K220 we had on display in our “beer-garden” as well as Castrol’s Ford Mustang, whilst catching up with each other and checking out the new site.
Matt Keene, Hallam & Bayswater Truck Centre’s and TRP Pakenham & TRP Peninsula’s General Manager, kicked off the formalities and took the opportunity to officially welcome everyone to the evening. He acknowledged how special it was to have significant representation from PACCAR attending including Mark Santschi, PACCAR Parts General Manager, as well as representatives from industry leading brands such as Castrol and Capricorn join us
Matt then shared some insights with our guests into the journey to get TRP Peninsula store open and ready for trading and why it was so important for us to expand our presence here in the South-East.
Ben Richards, Hallam & Bayswater Truck Centre’s and TRP Pakenham & TRP Peninsula’s Parts Operations Manager, then took to the mic and thanked all our customers for joining us and expanded on the plans around how we will continue to grow TRP Peninsula to ensure our customers can easily access parts and accessories along the Peninsula long into the future.
As formalities came to a close, guests were encouraged to stay for more unreal food, more great tunes from the great entertainment and catch up with our staff over a drink or two.
A lot of hard work by our team has gone into getting TRP Peninsula up and running over the last few months, and we could not be prouder! This is a really exciting step for our parts division, and we can already see the growth within the Mornington Peninsula region within this short period.
Thank you again to all our amazing customers and suppliers who took time out of their week to join us for this incredibly special night. We look forward to holding my customer appreciation evenings like this in the future!
TRP Peninsula, located in Hastings, has already been very well received as it provides much needed support to our three other parts locations; Hallam Truck Centre, Bayswater Truck Centre and TRP Pakenham. The new store also extends our PACCAR dealership network which includes CMV Truck Centre in Adelaide, and the Barry Maney Group in Mount Gambier, ensuring our customers can easily access parts and accessories along the Peninsula.
