Longstanding Hallam Truck Centre customer, Victorian Freight Specialists, recently made the exciting decision to purchase and invest in a brand new T610SAR and their team have been anxiously awaiting the new truck’s arrival.

Whilst their new T610SAR was in the process of being built, Victorian Freight Specialists’ compliance manager Glenn and his team made the smart choice in renting a ‘very special’ T610SAR from us! Our team were able to support VFS to continue the transport of spare parts for PACCAR Australia and several their well-known clients with our PacLease Truck Rental & Leasing arm. Customers can rent prime movers or rigids on a short or long-term basis, specified to their business requirements to maximise uptime and productivity during new builds, peak demand times or whilst their vehicles are off-road.  

Victorian Freight Specialists were the first to hire our special red T610SAR and by all reports, Glenn is already impressed with the vehicle.

Victorian Freight Specialists have been in business since 1998 offering transport and warehousing services to metro Melbourne, regional Victoria and southern NSW. One of Victorian Freight Services' many clients is PACCAR Australia, by whom they have been contracted to deliver spare parts to the Kenworth & DAF factory in Bayswater, VIC.

Kenworth Sales Consultant, James Leo, recently had the pleasure of delivering Victorian Freight Specialists their brand-new T610SAR! The truck was custom built and comes with the full suite of safety features available including collision mitigation, adaptive cruise with braking, autonomous emergency braking and lane departure warning.

The new rig is fitted with an 860mm integrated sleeper with Eaton Ultrashift 18 speed transmission and Cummins X15 engine rated at 580Hp.

Additional features included with this driveline are Smart Torque, Smart Coast & Dual Mode transmission shift programming in order to achieve optimum fuel economy, performance & driveability.
